報告人簡介：
Dr. Jie Han is a full professor at Department of Civil, Environmental, and Architectural Engineering at the University of Kansas in the United States.He received his Ph.D. degree in Civil Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 1997 and his MS and BS degrees in Geotechnical Engineering from Tongji University in 1989 and 1986, respectively.Prof. Han’s research and practical experiences have dealt with geosynthetics-reinforced earth structures, ground improvement, pile foundations, and pavement applications.Prof. Han has published more than 200 peer-reviewed journal and conference papers and has given a number of keynote or invited lectures in different countries.Prof. Han served as the Technical Co-chair for the ASCE Geo-Institute Annual Conference – GeoFrontiers 2011 and the GeoShanghai International Conference 2006.Prof. Han was the recipient of the2011 Shamsher Prakash Prize for Excellence in Practice of Geotechnical Engineering.
